Elana Thom started with The Maven Academy as a parent in 2015 and joined our faculty as the history teacher for 2019-2020 and 2021-present. She has over 20 years of experience teaching middle and high school students in both public and private school settings. Ms. Thom looks at education as a three-legged stool, the legs representing the student, the parent(s), and the teacher. We each have a role to uphold to provide balance so that our students will be successful..
