The Maven Academy's
Governing Standards

The Maven Academy is a non-public, church-exempt school which strives to adhere to the morals and principles outlined in the Bible which we believe to be the inspired word of God.

While we do not teach Christianity and are accepting and respectful of all Faiths, students and parents must be comfortable with the following foundational beliefs our services are based upon.

We are to treat others as we want to be treated.

Matthew 7:12

 "Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets"

We are to show respect to parents and staff.

Exodus 20:12

 “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you"

We are fearfully and wonderfully made.

Genesis 5:2

"He created them male and female, and blessed them and called them Mankind in the day they were created"

Psalm 139:14

"I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well"

Our daily lives should reflect our values.

Matthew 5:16

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven"
